Tunnel Auto Pathfinding

I just watched a video of someone playing BfME2 for the first time and the person thought that units would automatically use tunnels, if that was the fastest route for them. Of course we all know that that isn't the case.
Nonetheless, I believe that it would be a really cool and useful thing and should be implemented in Reforged as soon as dwarves or goblins are implemented.

Could be interesting, although it would definitely need its own hotkey because otherwise this will cause a lot of unintended behaviour.

This would be a great idea but it comes into question about what is quicker.. the easiest path or the quicker path.
It would be hard for the pathing to figure out that going from 'a-b' is better that going from 'a' to tunnel then appearing
next to a fortress and walking through it to get to 'b'.
It would be a great concept and I think that it would work well.. in fact it would make Dwaves and Goblins a harder faction as you would have to set a "Move" order to set them not to use the tunnels.
