RPS Gameplay

I was just wondering how strong the RPS gameplay will be in reforged. Will it be as strong as in BFME? or will it be closer to Tolkien? IMO I got a strong anti RPS in his books. You were a good fighter no matter what weapon you mastered and it was effective against other units with different weapons. Yes spears are better against calvary then a sword but not so much that it should control gameplay.

Reforged will be a strategy game, so some form of strengthes and weakness of units are necessary, else there wouldnt be a need for different ones.
But we haven't got any gameplay roadmap yet, so I think we have to assume it will be similar to BfME2.

I don't understand why this would be an issue? There are strengths and weaknesses to soldiers, tactics, vehicles etc. Just like in real life.

no one says that is not how it should be. but when the difference drives gameplay and strategy, it loses lore is all I am saying. and fun is lost IMO.
