Ring Hero

So, if ring heroes are going to be implemented and accurate to the lore, then it's Frodo as ring hero for good faction and Sauron for evil faction.

But what if we have a fun and diverse (a bit lore unfriendly though) cast as ring heroes?

Men: Gandalf (ring works like a upgrade).

Elfs: Galadriel (like in bfme2, but more abilities).

Dwarfs: Thorin & Company (including Bilbo) (company are disguised as abilities).

Mordor: Sauron (like in bfme2, but more abilities).

Isengard: Saruman (ring works like a upgrade).

Goblins: Smaug (a bigger version of Dragoth).

From what I've gathered from the Current Progress 2 update video, the team is axing the concept of Ring units on account of unpopularity in competitive play and instead treating the existing units as late-spellbook Balrog-style summons, with Galadriel and Sauron serving this function for the Elves and Mordor respectively.

That'S a shame.
What about both being possible? With the ring the ring hero becomes permanent, else it will only be a temporary summon.

:?: :ugeek:
I think there should be still an option or a quest like grab the ring or maybe add "the ring of fire"too and if you can catch both as MOTW player can cast gandalf for 5 k and prevent the enemie mordor player to gain sauron, so every fraction has the chance to get its own "ring" hero. but the second "class" or second strongest heros should be available with spell book for a permanent buff instead of a one time damage ability, maybe you could even add a new line in the spell boo
