Custom Heros

I really liked the building your own hero in BFME2 and felt like it really added to the game. Is there any plans to include this in the game at some point? Maybe it is even possible for you to improve it by adding more special abilities and more classes. Was anyone else a fan of this? Even if this doesn't get added this project is still awesome! I'm really impressed and excited by what you guys are doing.

Hi, welcome to the forum! I've merged your topic with this one since it's similar. Currently Create a Hero (CaH) is low priority on a long list of things that need to be done first. Maybe later on :)

So the Custom hero Creation has a very low priority, but if there would ever be such a system in BFME Reforged, then the system that was in BFME/ROTWK should be used with some few differences, biggest one being taking out the wizard class and putting in a new one that both good and evil faction can use.
Large text incoming, it's from another forum but made some slight changes.


Attributes:

Recharge time - reduces the reload time of spells and abilities.
Damage - increases the damage dealt by normal attacks.
Health - increases the life points and rate of regeneration.
Experience - increases experience gain and reduces recruit cost (-25 resources hero base cost for each attribute point in experience).
Vision - increases the range of sight and true sight.



Class:



Leaders of the West

Type:
Captain of Gondor (health focused).
Marshal of Rohan (experience focused).
Shield Maiden of Rohan (3 less attribute points but has passive earned resources when killing units).
Elven Lord (damage focused).

Powers:
Call Reinforcements, Improved Call Reinforcements, Great Call Reinforcements, Superior Call Reinforcements (summons battalions from your faction).
Train Allies, Improved Train Allies, Great Train Allies (grants experience to allied troops).
Spear Throw, Improved Spear Throw, Mighty Spear Throw (ranged attack that does damage in a small radius).
Shield Crush, Improved Shield Crush (hero can crush enemies and are immune to arrows for a while).
Horseman (mount).
Starlight (nearby allies are healed and get buffed damage and armor, stuns enemy units).
Elendil (causes enemy units to flee in terror).
Blade Master (hero temporarily gains +200% damage and +100% armor).
Athelas (heals nearby heroes).
Leadership, Improved Leadership (allies near hero gain damage and armor buff, and earn experience faster, second stage gives terror and fear immunity and and even faster experience gain).
Armor, Improved Armor, Great Armor (hero becomes temporarily immune to damage and gets a small passive armor bonus).
Cripple Strike, Improved Cripple Strike (deals damage to a enemy hero and roots them for a duration).
Heroic Charge (hero and nearby allied cavalry gain +100% damage and +300% armor for a short time, no force can slow this charge (can only be used while mounted (level 7).
Hold Ground (hero and nearby allied units gain +100% damage and +300% armor for a long time, becomes -50% slower (can only be used while on foot (level 7).



Defender of the Woods

Type:
Male Elven Archer (damage focused).
Female Elven Archer (vision focused).
Ranger (health focused).
Hobbit (5 less attribute points but has passive earned resources when killing units and passive 5% chance for damage immunity).

Powers:
Archer Specialization, Improved Archer Specialization, Great Archer Specialization, Superior Archer Specialization (hero gains a increase to their arrow damage).
Cripple Shoot, Improved Cripple Shoot, Great Cripple Shot, Superior Cripple Shoot (deals damage to a enemy hero and roots them in place for a duration).
Summon Familiar, Improved Summon Familiar, Great Summon Familiar (summons a flock of birds that reveal the shroud and detect stealth, third stage debuffs enemy unit damage and armor and nullify enemy leadership).
Train Allies, Improved Train Allies, Great Train Allies (grants experience to allied troops).
Toggle Weapon (allows the hero to switch between bow and melee).
Self-Heal, Improved Self Heal (heals themselves and allies).
Stealth, Improved Stealth (hero can stealth while moving, second stage makes hero invisible while standing still).
Wind Walker (temporarily gain +30% movement speed and immunity to arrows(level 1).
Leadership, Improved Leadership (allies near hero gain damage and armor buff, and earn experience faster, second stage gives terror and fear immunity and and even faster experience gain).
Ambush, Improved Ambush, Great Ambush (some rangers/elves appear in the designated area for ranged damage and vanish after a while(level 3, 7 and 10).
Rain of Arrows, Improved Rain of Arrows , Mighty Rain of Arrows (launches a barrage of arrows covering a area(level 3, 7 and 10).



Guardian of the Mountains

Type:
Iron Breaker (health focused).
Slayer (damage focused).
Mountain Maiden (5 less attribute points but has passive healing(well).
Stone Artisan (3 less attribute points but has passive building heal).

Powers:
Battle Rage, Improved Battle Rage, Great Battle Rage, Superior Battle Rage (hero gains a boost to damage and armor).
Sapper, Improved Sapper, Mighty Sapper (melee attack that does damage to buildings/mighty sapper immobilizes enemy structure for a good time).
Axe Throw, Improved Axe Throw, Great Axe Throw (ranged attack that does damage to a single target).
Oil Spill/Light Fire, Improved Oil Spill/Light Fire, Great Oil Spill/Light Fire (hero can spill oil on the ground for a duration and then light a fire(level 1, 3 and 7).
Train Allies, Improved Train Allies, Great Train Allies (grants experience to allied troops).
Leadership, Improved Leadership (allies near hero gain damage and armor buff, and earn experience faster, second stage gives terror and fear immunity and and even faster experience gain).
Treasure Hunter, Improved Treasure Hunter (finds a treasure that gives 250 resources and hero gains passive building pillage/ bigger treasure(500) passive building pillage for hero and nearby allies, Treasure Hunter power has a longer cooldown then Steal Resources power(level 3 and 7).
Toughness (hero gains a permanent boost to health points).
Earthshaker, Improved Earthshaker, Mighty Earthshaker (hero slams the ground causing a earthquake within a radius).
Bombard, Improved Bombard, Great Bombard (calls in a artillery strike over a radius).
Leap, Improved Leap (hero jumps to a location causing area-affect damage).



Maiar

Type:
Wanderer (experience focused).
Avatar (damage focused).
Handmaiden (health focused).
Sorceress (rechargetime focused).

Powers:
Fire Mastery, Improved Fire Mastery, Great Fire Mastery, Superior Fire Mastery (fireball/ improved fireball, passive fire damage aura/ great fireball, passive improved fire damage aura/ superior fireball (bigger radius knock back), passive great fire damage aura(level 1, 3, 7 and 10).
Water Mastery, Improved Water Mastery, Great Water Mastery, Superior Water Mastery (frozen ground (enemy units are damaged and slowed down -33%, extinguishes all fires/ improved frozen ground and passive healing(well healing)/ great frozen ground and improved passive healing/ superior frozen ground (-70% slowdown) and great passive healing(level 1, 3, 7 and 10).
Stone Mastery, Improved Stone Mastery, Great Stone Mastery, Superior Stone Mastery (Poison Earthquake (good damage against buildings and leaves poison spores damaging enemy units one time)/, Improved poison earthquake and passive +10% armor/ great poison earthquake and passive +20% armor/ superior poison earthquake (immobilizes enemy structure) and passive +30% armor(level 1, 3, 7 and 10).
Wind Mastery, Improved Wind Mastery, Great Wind Mastery, Superior Wind Mastery (ball lightning/ improved ball lightning and passive +10% movement speed/ great ball lightning and passive +20% movement speed/ superior ball lightning (bigger radius knock back) and passive +30% movement speed(level 1, 3, 7 and 10).
Light Mastery, Improved Light Mastery, Great Light Mastery, Superior Light Mastery (lightblast/ improved lighblast and passive +33% damage and armor, +50% faster experience gain for allied units/ great lighblast and passive +33% damage and armor, +100% faster experience gain, fear and terror resistance for allied units/ superior lighblast (gives stun in a small area) and passive +50% damage and armor, +150% faster experience gain, fear and terror resistance for allied units, reduces recharge time for unit and heroes and abilities by 25% for allied units (level 1, 3, 7 and 10).
Dark Mastery, Improved Dark Mastery, Great Dark Mastery, Superior Dark Mastery (dark grave (unit in radius are poison damaged over time, units that die become skeletons)/ improved dark grave, passive debuff -25% damage and -20% armor/ great dark grave, passive debuff -25% damage and -20% armor, nullifies enemy leadership/ superior dark grave (enemy units in radius are in fear), passive debuff -33% damage and -25% armor, nullifies enemy leadership (level 1, 3, 7 and 10).
Force Blast, Improved Force Blast, Mighty Force Blast (close range attack that blast back enemies for damage(level 1, 3 and 7).

Goblin (5 less attribute points but has passive climb walls, passive earned resources when killing units and building pillage).
Orc Raider (rechargetime focused).
Uruk (damage focused).
Gundabad Berserker (health focused).

Powers:
Call Reinforcements, Improved Call Reinforcements, Great Call Reinforcements, Superior Call Reinforcements (summons battalions from your faction).

Poison Attack, Improved Poison Attack, Mighty Poison Attack, Superior Poison Attack (hero poisons enemies for damage and a duration).

Corsair Pirate (5 less attribute points but has passive invisibility and damage immunity when reaching low health, very long cool-down so it can't be abused).

Powers:
Assassin, Improved Assassin, Mighty Assassin, Superior Assassin (deals a amount of damage to an enemy hero).
Fire Bomb, Improved Fire Bomb, Great Fire Bomb, Superior Fire Bomb (hero can throw small bombs for damage).
Train Allies, Improved Train Allies, Great Train Allies (grants experience to allied troops).
Stealth, Improved Stealth, Great Stealth (hero can stealth while standing still, second stage makes hero stealth while moving, third stage makes hero invisible while standing still).
Coerce, Improved Coerce, Great Coerce (hero can convert the allegiance of enemy units in a radius).
